Hello, my name is Connor Russell. I am 28 years old and have recently graduated from the Post Baccalaureate Program at Vancouver Island University (VIU). Originally I am from Victoria BC, however, I have lived in Nanaimo B.C for 10 years. In January of 2016, I graduated from VIU with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, minoring in both History and Sport Health and Physical Education.
Through the time I have spent in Nanaimo I have developed a strong passion for teaching which has mainly stemmed from my involvement with baseball and coaching around the community.
I played four years of university baseball at Vancouver Island University. In 2011/2012 I pitched for the Okotoks Dawgs in the Western Major Baseball League. In 2013 I pitched for the Victoria Harbourcats in the West Coast Baseball League.
Lastly, I look forward to getting to know you and passing along my knowledge so that we can continue to grow and produce top-level athletes within our community.
